Frequently Asked Questions.

Everything you need to know about Obserc, your safety circle, and how our features protect you when it matters most.

What is the difference between a standard and Critical SOS?

Tapping the SOS Beacon sends a standard alert to your circle. Holding it for 3 seconds triggers a Critical SOS, which escalates the alert to emergency contacts and shares your live location instantly. You get a 10-second "slide to cancel" window just in case!

What exactly does Night Out Mode do?

It’s your ultimate nightlife companion. It activates "Find My Squad" radar so you don't lose friends in crowds, features an "I Feel Off" button to silently alert your group, allows for one-tap Safety Calls, and generates a Night Out Report summary the next morning.

What is Backup Stability Mode?

If your phone battery drops to a critically low level, Obserc recognizes the risk and automatically activates Backup Stability Mode. This sends a battery risk warning to your circle so they know your last location before your device powers off.

How does Obserc Drive work?

Drive Mode keeps your circle informed when you're behind the wheel. It monitors for hard braking, tracks your journey, provides a safety score, and automatically notifies your circle when you arrive safely. (Your drive data is never shared with insurers).

How do Daily Streaks work?

We believe safety is a habit. Opening Obserc daily builds your streak! You start at Firewood (0-2 days), upgrade to Flame (3-6), Fireball (7-13), and eventually Phoenix (14+ days). Miss two days, and your streak resets.

Does Obserc track me all the time?

You have full control. Obserc uses location tracking to keep your circle informed, but we offer powerful privacy controls including Ghost Mode for when you want to go off the grid temporarily. Your data is processed securely and never sold.
